Genesis 28:3 | and the mighty one of Shaddai will respect you and he will make you reproduce and he will make you increase and you will exist for an assembled flock of peoples, |

וְיַרְבֶּךָ wê'yar'be'kha |
Genesis 28:4 | and he gave to you the present of Avraham for you and for your seed with you for you to inherit the land of your pilgrimages which Elohiym gave to Avraham, |

Genesis 28:6 | and Esav saw that Yits'hhaq respected Ya'aqov and he sent him unto Padan-Aram to take for him from there a woman, in respecting him and he directed upon him saying, you will not take a woman from the daughters of Kena'an, |

Genesis 28:7 | and Ya'aqov heard his father and his mother and he walked unto Padan-Aram, |

Genesis 28:8 | and Esav saw that the daughters of Kena'an were dysfunctional in the eyes of Yits'hhaq his father, |

Genesis 28:9 | and Esav walked to Yishma'el and he took Mahhalat the daughter of Yishma'el the son of Avraham, the sister of Nevayot, for him for a woman in addition to his women, |

Genesis 28:10 | and Ya'aqov went out from B'er-Sheva and he walked unto Hharan, |

Genesis 28:11 | and he reached the place and he stayed the night there given that the sun came and he took from the stones of the place and he set his headrest in place and he laid down in that place, |

וַיִּשְׁכַּב wai'yish'kav |
Genesis 28:12 | and he visualized and look, a ladder is standing erect unto the land and his head was touching unto the skies and look, messengers of Elohiym were going up and going down him, |
וַיַּחֲלֹם wai'ya'hha'lom |
הַשָּׁמָיְמָה ha'sha'mai'mah |
בּוֹ bo |
Genesis 28:13 | and look, Yhwh is standing erect upon him and he said, I am Yhwh of the powers of Avraham your father and the powers of Yits'hhaq, the land which you are laying down upon I will give her to you and to your seed, |

וּלְזַרְעֶךָ ul'zar'e'kha |
Genesis 28:14 | and your seed will exist like the powder of the land and you will break out unto the sea and unto the east and unto the north and unto the south country and all the families of the ground will be respected with you and with your seed, |

וְנִבְרְכוּ wê'niv're'khu |
בְךָ vê'kha |
כָּל kol |
וּבְזַרְעֶךָ uv'zar'e'kha |
Genesis 28:15 | and look, I am with you and will guard you in all where you will walk and I will return you to this ground given that I will not leave you until I do which I spoke to you, |
וּשְׁמַרְתִּיךָ ush'mar'ti'kha |
וַהֲשִׁבֹתִיךָ wa'ha'shi'vo'ti'kha |

Genesis 28:16 | and Ya'aqov awoke from his snooze and he said, surely Yhwh is in this place and I did not know, |

Genesis 28:17 | and he feared and he said, what is being feared of this place this is nothing except the house of Elohiym and this is the gate of the skies, |

Genesis 28:18 | and Ya'aqov departed early in the morning and he took the stone which he set in place as his headrest, and he set her in place as a monument and poured down oil upon her head, |

מְרַאֲשֹׁתָיו mê'ra'a'sho'taw |

Genesis 28:19 | and he called out the title of that place Beyt-El but Luz was the title of the city at first, |

Genesis 28:20 | and Ya'aqov vowed a vow saying, if Yhwh the Elohiym is by me and he will guard me in this road which I am walking and he will give to me bread to eat and garments to clothe, |
וּשְׁמָרַנִי ush'ma'ra'ni |
לִי li |
Genesis 28:21 | and I will turn back in completeness to the house of my father then Yhwh will exist for me for Elohiym, |
אֶל el |
לִי li |
Genesis 28:22 | and this stone which I set in place as a monument will exist as the house of Elohiym and all which you will give to me I will surely give a tenth of him to you, |
