About the Holy Assembly and the Everlasting Covenant
The Christian Bible is divided into two parts, the Old Testament and the New Testament. Christianity teaches that the covenant God made with Israel in the Old Testament was replaced by the covenant that God made with the Church in the New Testament. While this doctrine is accepted without question throughout Christianity, it is not supported by the Bible. The Bible teaches that the New Coveanant enhances the Original Covenant, the Covenant presented in the New Testamentit does not "replace" it. In addition, as Jeremiah 31:31 teaches, this New Covenant is not with the "Church" or with "Gentiles" as is generally taught, but with Israel, just as the original covenant was.
"Behold, the days are coming declares Yahweh, that I will cut a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah."
