Culture
Contained within the texts of the Hebrew Bible are many customs and traditions of the Hebrews that cannot be understood through the text alone. These books will provide a background of their culture so that the text will come alive to the reader.
Ancient Languages
The subject of these books are on Ancient Languages in general. While not specifically related to Hebrew they do discuss the Ancient Hebrew language as well as other Ancient Semitic languages. Very informative for those interested in Ancient linguistics and the development of language.
