Consonants

The "Ayin" is silent.


The "Tet" is pronounced "t" as in tune.


Vowels

The Shuruq. The dot in the "vav" is pronounced "u" as in tune. The "vav" is silent.

  1. In Hebrew the adjectives come after the noun, such as tov (good) in sentence #1 below.
