The Torah (The first five books of Moses) is divided into fifty-four Parshot (The plural form of the word parshah meaning portion). Each of these Parshot are also divided into seven readings, one for each day of the week, the first reading is read on Sunday, the second on Monday, etc. We are including the Jerusalem Publication Society (JPS) English translation of the Hebrew Bible in the left column and the Hebrew text in the right column.
