Smith's Bible Dictionary

Smith's Bible Dictionary is a 19th century Bible dictionary containing over five thousand entries on various subjects including people, places, history and geography. This dictionary is named after its editor, William Smith, a noted English lexicographer and classical scholar. The original dictionary was published as a three volume set in England in 1863. This was followed in 1884 by an expanded four volume version which was published in the United States. Due to the age of the original publications, they have entered into the public domain, meaning that this work does not fall under copyright restrictions. If you are an E-Sword user, this dicitonary, as well as other Bible dictionaries, are available through the E-Sword Website as modules for your E-Sword.
