How to use an On-Line Bible and Concordance
By Jeff A. Benner

For those that do not have access to a Concordance, Crosswalk.Com offers great tools for studying Hebrew.

Sure do; Go to Strong's Dictionary and enter the word you would like to find the Hebrew for in the search box. As an example if you type in Judah you will be given several choices, three of which are "Judah", one is the Aramaic form Yehud, another is the Hebrew form Yehudah and another one (Yehudiy - meaning the tribe of Judah). If you select Yehudah it will open the strong's dictionary for number 3063. There you will see that the name means "Praise". You can also click on the "word orgin" #3034 - yadah to look up the many meanings of this root word: throw, shoot, praise, etc (all dealing with throwing something such as throwing your hands up in praise).

You can also go to Interlinear Bible and enter a verse where the word in question appears such as Gen 29:35. Here you will see the Hebrew text for this verse as well as the English with clickable links to the various words in the sentence. In the verse you can click on the word "Judah" and it will again open up the Strong's Dictionary entry for that word.
